PENNSAUKEN - A 55-year-old Evesham man was killed Monday morning when his car was crushed between two trucks on Route 73, police said.
Craig W. Powers was driving north near Remington Road at 9:35 a.m. when he was rear-ended by a box truck.
The collision pushed Powers' vehicle into and beneath a northbound dump truck that was stopped for a red light.
The dump truck also struck two other vehicles at the intersection, police said.
Powers, who was the lone occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck drivers were not hurt. Their identities were not released.
Police said charges were pending from the accident, which forced the closing of Route 73 for several hours.
